Common questions

Kiosk or Sink?+

Choose the Sink if your counters can be modified, and the Kiosk if they cannot. Both run the same RFID engine and integrations, but the Sink is fitted permanently into the counter while the Kiosk stands on the floor and can be moved.

Changes to your checkout counter+

The Sink is fitted into your existing counter, which involves carpentry. PayTag carries out that work during deployment, together with network, power, and placement.

Fits the systems you already use+

The Sink connects by API to your POS, your ERP, and your payment platform. PayTag builds and maintains the connection, so data stays where your team already works.

Existing EAS and RFID tags+

They keep working. Both tag types are supported through a modular detacher base, so inventory does not need retagging before launch.

Leaving without paying+

Not without the gate knowing. The hard tag releases only after payment is confirmed, and an unpaid item passing the RFID gate raises an alert that names the specific item.
